Review: Arrow VT1217 17-Feet

The materials, fit and finish are excellent, but the assembly instructions are very difficult. I had my family come together for a "Barn Raising" if you will. My father-in-law is very mechanical after a career as a pipe fitter, my brother-in-law is a structural engineer, and my father has remodeled multiple homes and built spec-homes. We are all very mechanically inclined, and we put in about 40 man hours and didn't quite have it finished. Looking back on it, we believe that our major flaw was in trying to take the direction word for word and completing everything in the exact order that the directions suggest. I am happy with the way it came out, but again, these directions are spectacularly difficult to follow. In fact, we found that it didn't matter what language the directions were in that we picked up and looked at Arrow VT1217 17-Feet.
